B.J. Sharp's Long awaited first CD "Never Felt No Blues"
Now available!
She stood in line at well-known comedy clubs during "open mike" nights with the likes of Robin Williams,
Richard Pryor, and Elaine Boosler. Finally one evening while sitting in the audience at Danny's Apple in Encino, B.J., unable to control her enthusiastic sing-a-long with the vocalist on stage, was invited to sing with them in an impromptu jam.
With her huge, soulful voice and incredibly sharp wit, B.J. brought down the house!
This led to 17 years of continuous gigs at L.A. and Las Vegas establishments.
The lady doesn't just
sing a song, she spins a yarn and digs down so deep you can't help but
relate. By opening up to the audience, B.J. shares her distinctive self while singing the blues.
And the audience responds in kind.
| B.J. is more than just a talented singer. She's a great entertainer. Her comedic expression allows her to communicate things about herself and others that most people only think about but never mention. Audiences wholeheartedly appreciate B.J.'s unique skew on relationships and always have and unforgettable experience. |

Although B.J. sings in a variety of musical styles, she is known for the Blues. But whatever she sings, the heart of her act is her songs. She examines sexual and social politics on such a variety of levels that it's fascinating to watch them unfold.
She has paid her dues. She has lived the Blues. B.J. Sharp . . . remember her name!
